The iKey® StreetCase(TM) was unveiled at the 2013 Macworld/iWorld Expo last week to an amazing response.

Fully sealed and submersible while closed, the iKey® StreetCase(TM) provides the durability of a rugged laptop for iPad users. Ideal for heavy data input on the touchscreen-only device, the iKey® StreetCase(TM) houses a fully sealed QWERTY Bluetooth®-compatible keyboard with red LED backlighting. The iKey® StreetCase(TM) is built out of a robust, ABS polycarbonate, and has customized internal rails that easily lock in place to support an ergonomic viewing position of 115-degree angle.

As with all of iKey's products, the StreetCase(TM) is designed for use in harsh environments, including those found in public safety, fleet and industrial applications. Sealed to NEMA 4X/IP65 standards while in a closed configuration, the case is resistant to liquids, dust and other debris. In addition, the iKey® StreetCase(TM) is designed to operate in extreme temperatures of -40 degrees F to +158 degrees F (-40 degrees C to +70 degrees C) and meets the high shock and vibration specifications demanded for optimum in-vehicle usage. Ideal for mobile applications, the iKey® StreetCase(TM) features an integrated VESA mounting pattern for those who want to dock their tablet.

The Bluetooth®-compatible, rechargeable keyboard featured inside boasts a one-touch pairing process, and can be paired to your device in less than 30 seconds. iPad integrated hot keys allow you to quickly search your device, return to the home screen, control volume, review photos, lock the screen and access the on-screen keyboard. Integrated red LED backlighting makes the iKey® StreetCase(TM) an ideal solution in low-light environments and also automatically shuts-off after 10 seconds of inactivity to preserve battery life. Battery life is estimated to be several months on a full charge.
