After extensive research, Varvel Spa, Bologna-based company operating worldwide, unveils new products in kit-form at Hannover Messe, from 8 to 12 April.

Protagonists, ISM solid shaft and BSM backstop modules represent a great new deal in Varvel product lines being installed on most gearbox version input in “S” with flexible coupling “G” in a few minutes and with a simple wrench.

“We are very pleased with the outcome - says Francesco Berselli, President of Varvel SpA - because it’s a concrete demonstration of how the company continues to develop new solutions and innovative products. Despite the difficulties of the current economic situation, Varvel shows that the company’s dynamism is pushing the continuous growth to effectively respond to global market demands”.

Since 1955, year of establishment, the company has never stopped designing more and more performing products and solutions; these two elements are the result of a painstaking research to further improve the company’s proposals worldwide.

ISM - Input Shaft Module, the input shaft is supported by two 2RS type sealed ball bearings that do not need lubrication. A half flexible coupling is provided at the output to match the corresponding Varvel gearbox.

BSM - Back-Stop Module is built in two versions, output shaft with ball bearing and back-stop bearing, and IEC or NEMA flange with only back-stop bearing, allowing the same fitting to Varvel gearboxes as above.

Our research and development department has therefore created two modules of the latest generation able to further improve the functionality of our products, with a great ease of application”.

Varvel wanted to upgrade its product range with a novelty that is about to be launched worldwide where Italy’s quality deal marries the assembly ease with highly satisfactory results.
